We carry most spare parts with the engineer for TEC, Sato and Zebra printers — the three brands that make up the majority of the machines we’re called out to. That means most faults on these brands are fixed in a single visit, without waiting on a part to be ordered in.

On-Site Support
An engineer on your line, not on hold.
Ad hoc call-outs when something breaks, with most spares carried by the engineer on the van for TEC, Sato and Zebra printers — the brands we see most often on customer lines — so a repair doesn’t turn into a second visit waiting for a part. Loan printers are available to keep your line running while yours is being fixed, and if the fault turns out to be a worn ribbon or damaged label roll rather than the printer itself, our ribbons and labels pages cover what to check.
Planned Cover
Service contracts, or send it back to base.
Service contracts are available at competitive rates for planned maintenance and priority cover — useful if downtime on your line is expensive and you’d rather catch wear before it causes a breakdown. For printers that don’t need an on-site visit, our RTB (return-to-base) service gets them repaired in the workshop and back to you, usually the faster option for a printer that can be safely removed from the line. Common questions about printer repair.
Most call-outs are scheduled within the same week, with priority slots for lines that are fully stopped. Response is fastest in Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Spalding, where our engineers are based, but we cover the whole UK.
We carry spares with the engineer for TEC, Sato and Zebra printers, which covers the majority of call-outs. Get in touch with your printer’s make and model and we’ll confirm we can help before booking anything in.
Estimates are given before any chargeable work starts. If a repair looks like it will materially exceed the original estimate once the engineer is on-site, we’ll always check with you before continuing.
An on-site call-out sends an engineer to your line, which is usually the right choice if the printer can’t easily be removed from production. RTB (return-to-base) means the printer is shipped or dropped to our workshop for repair — often faster and cheaper for a printer that isn’t urgent to keep on the line.
Yes — loan printers are available to keep your line running while a repair or RTB job is in progress. Ask when you book your call-out.
Yes \u2014 printers built into clipping and netting machines (the ones that apply the wineglass-shaped label as they net fruit, garlic and onions) are a notoriously difficult setup, and it’s one we specialise in. See our wineglass label printer setup page for more.
